I will be leaving my practice after 8 years, on May 31, 2025, to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a new physician to take over my practice and the physicians at Quinsam Medical are unable to take over care of my patients; therefore, I urge you to begin searching for a new doctor. You can do this by:
Visiting the Pathways Medical Directory (pathwaysmedicalcare.ca)
Contacting HealthLink BC using 811 toll-free number (or 711 if you are hearing impaired) or by visiting their website at healthlinkbc.ca.
Contacting your local Divisions of Family Practice (divisionsbc.ca), as some are establishing physician directories.
Visiting your local Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC). UPPCs also serve as primary care clinics for people who do not have a regular primary care provider. For Campbell River, call 1-833-688-8722.
Asking friends and family for recommendations.
Since your medical records are confidential, a copy can only be transferred to another doctor or released to you with your written permission through an authorization of release of medical records form. Please send the request to Quinsam Medical and they will provide them to you or your new family physician at no charge.
